Grandma Gone Granola™: Simple, Inexpensive Tips for Healthy Living
Hi! My name is Becky Lyles. I’m a mom and grandma with a desire to share simple, inexpensive tips for healthy living. Feeling good and taking care of your family’s health doesn’t have to involve hefty health club fees or high-priced products from your supermarket’s nutrition aisle.
I became interested in healthcare when I experienced a health crisis—to be accurate, three crises in the form of pre-eclamptic pregnancies (also known as toxemia of pregnancy or pregnancy-induced hypertension). Later, ear infections, milk allergies and other childhood ailments as well as my own dis-ease spurred me to a lifelong search for optimal health.
I don’t have all the answers (still searching for the cure for hot flashes!), but I have learned a bit about diet, exercise, supplements and other self-help options over the years. And how to feed children, from toddlers to teens, nutritious meals on a limited budget. Plus, I’ve experienced the benefits of regular exercise.
